Raew Callio

Callio, Raew, - 77, of Somers Point, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 31, 2020. She was born in Thailand and is where she met and married the love of her life, Frank Callio, of 43 years. Raew learned to speak English and drive a car and was also proud of becoming an American citizen. Raew loved watching her son play baseball, as her husband, Frank coached Somers Point Little League and Senior League. She was the team's biggest fan and loved rooting for all the players. She was a huge fan of the Yankees, Phillies and 76ers and could be heard screaming at the TV no matter what time of night. Raew was an amazing cook, who truly enjoyed to cook for her friends, neighbors and family. She will always be remembered for her kind and sweet heart, who loved and adored her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her mother, Neu Kuankit, and her father and mother-in-law, Basile and Iva Callio. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jeneane and Bill Csaszar, her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Augie Callio, and her biggest joys in life, her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kristina Csaszar and Ava and Frankie Callio, her sister-in-law, Iva Jordan, her brother in-law Steve (Sue) Callio, her niece Patti Jordan-Baumgardner, and her family in Thailand that includes her brother, Comei (Bea) Kuankit, and nieces and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church, 606 Shore Road, Somers Point, NJ 08234. A funeral home visitation will be on Tuesday, August 4 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Middleton-Stroble & Zale Funeral Home, 304 Shore Road, Somers Point, NJ.
