Richard Carli

CARLI, RICHARD F. 79 - of Merritt Island, FL, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006. Born in Vineland, to the late Santo and Eleanor (Tonielli) Carli, he was a 1944 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Richard attended Villanova University and graduated with a degree in accounting from Elon College in North Carolina. He was a veteran of the US Navy holding the rank of Fireman First Class. Richard was Plant Manager for Wheaton's Plastics in Mays Landing and Toms River. He then moved to California where for many years he was manager of a plastics plant before moving to Florida where he also managed a plastics plant. In his younger days Richard played football in Vineland and coached for the Vineland Midget Football League. He enjoyed watching sports on television. He is survived by wife: Linda (Johnson) Carli Merritt Island, FL, Daughter & Her Husband: Cynthia & Chris Schauch, Sharon, MA, sister Barbara Carli Vineland, Aunts: Ida Carli) DiBrigida Vineland, Marylou Carli, Vineland, Two Grandchildren: Caitlyn & Christopher, Predeceased Former Wife: Barbara (Shapiro) Carli. A Church Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2006, from 9 to 10 a.m. with the Funeral Liturgy to follow at 10:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
