Mrs. Flaim, I'm so very sorry and saddened to have read of Bobby’s death; the days ahead will be a trying time for you and your family, but the strength and determination that Bobby had will undoubtedly be passed to all of you to ease your pain.
Unlike many he not only strived to obtain what he sought in life which made him a success, but he also gave back to many. He gave unselfishly to his friends, his church, and others he didn’t even know. In fact, I would curtail my visits to him on the farm because I knew that I would not be able to leave without him filling my arms and even the trunk of my car with all the produce that was in season. This was not an idle occasion, it was every occasion. He was one of the most real and generous people I have ever known and we will miss him very much. Not for what he gave to me, but for what he gave everyone from his heart.
He would always make me feel so special, and he would always out of his way to come see me. Whether at the Harmony Gun Club, the New Italy American Society, or wherever. Sadly, the last time I saw him was at a funeral. My wife and I were sitting after paying our respects and I saw Bobby go up and give his condolences to the family. He then walked through the crowd and completely around the funeral pallor to come sit and talk with us. He just made you feel special. I guess because he was so special.
Often times people say that when someone passes he or she is in a better place. The best place for Bobby was with his family and on his farm. If heaven for him is a better place it will be because he will make heaven a better place. Although Bobby is gone I know he will always be with you; his spirit, his love and good will be part of you no matter where you go.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, please accept and share our most heartfelt condolences with your family.
