Mrs. O´Dowd was an angel on earth to so many. When I was a student athlete at Mainland, she supported and encouraged with such pride and love. Years later she supported my family during the passing of my dad, Dennis. She was a Eucharistic minister, friend, and peaceful presence when most needed.
May her love and reminders of her loving ways, be felt as you remember her beautiful life on earth.

Rosemary is the reason I work at Mainland Regional High School. One day I walked into the athletic office to enquire about a coaching position. She marched me down to the superintendent's office and told him to hire me as a teacher and coach. After a few interviews I was hired and have enjoyed every day since. Rosemary was such an important figure at Mainland as a voice of reason, as an advocate for teachers and students, and always for a kind word of support. I will always be grateful for her and her impact on my life, as I am sure many other lives.

It was a pleasure to know Roe. She was the most upbeat, cheerful Irish lass!! Loved her and loved being around her. She was always helping at the Association. The world needs a lot more people like Roe O´Dowd. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. She will be sorely missed.

Dear O´Dowd Clan,

I am so sorry to learn of Rosemary´s passing, no doubt she is in Heaven now. Mom always spoke so highly of her times with Rosemary. After we moved to Texas, we didn´t get to visit NJ often - and seeing Rosemary´s bright smile and unwavering faith was a highlight of our visits. Thinking of you all....
