Burton, Susan H., - 67, of Millville, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland after a brief illness, with her brother by her side. Born in Millville to the late Norman and Zora (Buchan) Burton, she was a lifelong Millville resident. Susan graduated from Millville High School, Class of 1972, and Glassboro State College, Class of 1976. For 35 years she taught school at Schalick High School in Pittsgrove, Twp. and retired in 2010. During her retirement years, she worked as a tour guide for C & B Tours in Woodstown. She particularly enjoyed trips to NYC and seeing Broadway Shows. She will be sadly missed by her brother James Burton of Seaville. Family and friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Private graveside services will take place in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Millville Public Library, 210 Buck Street, Millville, NJ 08332, or to the Levoy Theatre, 126-130 N.
