Walter Lindquist Obituary

Lindquist, Walter Robert "Bob", - He came, he saw, he hunted, he fished. 86, of Northfield, embarked on his final journey on July 15, 2021. Bob was born on October 27,1934 in Camden, NJ at Cooper Hospital to the late Edith (Svanfeldt) and Walter Lindqvist. A graduate of Merchantville High School in 1952. Bob was employed at New Jersey American Water, retiring after 37 years of dedicated service in 1996 (allegedly). Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting with his nephew, Michael, son RJ, and countless others that were lucky enough to know his secret spots. He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved wife Margaret Anne (Reynolds) Lindquist, daughters Lisa Ann Lindquist, Lori Susan(Fred) Dinnini, Colleen Marie Sweeney, and son Robert James Lindquist (RJ), and grandchildren Cristina Lauren Sweeney, Gianna Nicole Dinnini, Ilana Eden, Joshua Evan Lindquist, Robert and Jane Reynolds (brother/sister in law), and beloved dog Buckley (Man's Best Friend). Bob loved spending time with his family, friends, and faithfully making Swedish pancakes every Christmas morning for all to enjoy. Bob was formally a member of the Mainland Rotary Club, where he served in many different capacities. He was an accomplished outdoorsman, dedicated Husband, Father, and Grandfather. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr's Christopher Lucasti, Gary Raab, and Journey Hospice for the wonderful care. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 21st from 10-11, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish: St Bernadette's Church, 1421 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, Linwood - Ventnor.
