He was born and raised in New Mexico. He moved to California for a short time, then moved to Preston with his first wife Melinda Hentrup. During his adult life, Tim was a hard-working husband and provider. He was an amazing fabricator, both in Plastics and Metals. He collected coins with his father and sons throughout the years. When the boys were growing up the family enjoyed many great days on the golf course. In the fall Hunting was a family passion. Tim still enjoyed hunting in Virginia with his sons, grandsons, and good family friends. Tim loved fishing, especially bass fishing on the reservoirs in Franklin County with family and friends.

Tim was a member of the Preston Lodge BPOE for 45 years, he spent the last 20 years devoted to helping the community through the lodge. He was a very passionate member of the Preston Lodge, even after moving to Virginia he kept his membership in Preston with his lifelong friends. Tim joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2010. He paid his tithing faithfully from the day he started attending meetings, he attended the temple with Laura, and they were sealed together for all eternity. At the time of his passing, he was a Sunday school teacher for the adults in the branch. He loves the Virginia branch where he resided, always looked forward to Sundays, and visiting with all the amazing members who welcomed us with open arms.

A memorial with the Elks Lodge and graveside services will be at a later date. Sometime this coming July.
