Allan was a fine gentleman and friend and will be missed. After I heard of Allan's passing yesterday I drove out to give my condolences and sat by his pond for a while - it was a great place to reflect on the passing of a friend. Allan was a "doer", hard working, resourceful, cheerful, kind hearted and helpful - the kind of person you always were glad to see or spend time with either on the job, around brunswick stew or a BBQ or just sitting on a tailgate. Cheers Allan - my life is richer having known you and been able to share time with you.

I just heard about Allan. Since our move to SC and mother and dads death I don't get as much news from Southside as I once did. The whole family is in my prayers.
