My husband and I have had the honor of working with B.J. at Riverside and it comes as a shock to us all and he will indeed be missed. To the Jordan Family, I extend my deepest sympathies in this time of sorrow. BJ will definitely be missed as he was one the most honest brothers that I knew. It's still hard for me to accept the fact that he is gone. I can't seem to get it out of my head no matter how hard I try. Heaven has a good soldier on its side for sure. You will stay in my thoughts and prayers always.

I would like to express my personal condolences to the family of our dear co-worker and friend Officer Barry Jordan. What a shock it was to hear that he had passed. Even though I will miss seeing him here at Riverside he will never be forgotten and I know he is in God's care now. I say to his family, stay strong and keep looking up for there's a brighter day ahead. Be blessed.

To the Jordan family. You have not lost a love one, for you know where God has delivered him to-a new resting place. Remember God never makes mistakes and now Barry will be watching over us all. To the parents, you will have good & bad days, but your good days, will out weigh your bad days. Always keep your hands and faith in God and all things that seem unlikely will come to past. I was an old classmate of his and I will always carry with me the jokes and laughs he, Chuck and I had in Algebra class. I will continue to pray for strength and comfort for you all.

We the security staff of Hu-6 Pre-Release Center at Riverside Regional Jail wish to express our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the family of Officer Barry Jordan it was a sudden shock to us all to hear of his passing, and he will truly be missed. To The Jordan Family,
Our prayers are with you in this tragic time in your life. We never know when the Lord will call us home but we do know Barry will be looking down on us now from a place of peace and comfort. I work at Riverside Regional Jail and would often see Barry either coming in to work or going home from work. My husband and I use to live in the same subdivision as Barry. We use to stop and talk to him all the time when we were walking. Barry will always be remembered by staff at Riverside.

We were co-workers at Riverside but also friends, he always greeted me with a smile and hug, we often discussed concerts and shows that we both had attented. He will be truly missed, I pray God gives you comfort at this time, and strengh to get through the days ahead.

As I received the news of my friend, I was saddened. However, we don't know the day nor the hour for us to go home to be with the LORD. To the Jordan family: You all are in my prayers. Barry was not just my neighbor he was my BEST friend. When I heard about his passing it was so unreal I talked to him everyday, he was not just my neighbor he was my brother and my friend you are not grieving alone. There are so many mixed emotions, happy, sad, angry, hurt, and confused but one thing that remains consistant is the LOVE. Take care, I LOVE YOU!!
