Bryant Wise Obituary

Mr. Bryant Wise Jr., age 25, of Stony Creek, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010.

He was born Dec. 5, 1985, and was the youngest of three children born to Bryant Sr. and Debra Wise of Stony Creek. He was well-loved and will always be remembered for his cool demeanor. He loved his family and friends, and also loved to fish. He enjoyed life. He attended Sussex County Public Schools and was currently a student in Job Corps. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gertrude Wise; and maternal grandfather, Robert L. Williams; two uncles, George M. Wise III and Darrin Tracey Williams; and one aunt, Cynthia LaFaye,

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted family, one sister, Nicole Wise, and one brother, Markel Williams, both of Stony Creek; two nephews, Naekwon Williams of Charlottesville and Markel William Jr. of Chesapeake; a maternal grandmother, Nellie Williams of Stony Creek; his paternal grandfather, George Wise Jr. of Amelia; six uncles, Robert Williams Jr. of Hopewell, LaFayette Williams of Lynchburg, Maurice Williams of Stony Creek, Michael Williams of Petersburg, Bruce Wise of Chesterfield and Kenneth Wise of Amelia; three aunts; Doris McClenny of Charlottesville, Sharon Barrow of Waverly and Sylvia Danslay of Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, from the chapel of William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, Petersburg. The Rev. Paul Wilson will officiate. Interment will be held at the Moore Family Cemetery, Stony Creek. Service of comfort are entrusted to the staff of McClenny Funeral Service Inc., Charlottesville.

Words cannot express my heartfelt sympathies when I found out about the passing of BJ. I remember when he was a baby and running around as a little boy.
