CLINTON E. FORMAN

Mr. Clinton Edwin Forman was born November 23, 1956, to Myra L. Forman and the late Benjamin Forman Jr. He transitioned this life from earth to glory on April 26, 2015, when he gained complete victory.

He was a native of Salem, NJ., and was educated in the Salem City School System. Clinton held various jobs prior to moving to Virginia in 1998.

Clinton attended Ephesus Pentecostal Church at an early age where he participated as a choir member and served on the Usher Board. Later in life after making a commitment to the Lord he moved to Seaford, Delaware, serving at Marantha Ministries. He served faithfully for several years before moving to Virginia. While residing in Virginia, he was employed by Chesterfield County Public Schools until his passing.

Clinton was a member of Empowerment Temple under the pastorship of Terrance Green. He was a licensed minister who loved the Lord and served faithfully at various ministries/churches where his passion for outreach flourished.

Clinton loved to praise through dancing and making a joyful noise unto the Lord, coming before his presence with singing. One of his favorite songs was "Only The Redeemed." Clinton fought a good fight of faith and won.

Clinton leaves to celebrate his victory and cherish his memory: his mother, Myra L. Forman; daughter, Phylicia Baskerville; two brothers, James Byrd of Orange, NJ, and Benjamin Forman (Sharon) of New Castle, DE; four sisters, Theresa Ruffin of Salem, NJ, Joyce Lewis (Anthony) of Salem, NJ, Deborah Santos (Victor) of New Castle, DE, and Vanessa Foster (Dur'Shay) of Hopewell, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; also leaves to cherish a close friend, Kimberly Green.

Homegoing services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Empowerment Temple, 219 N. County Drive, Waverly, Va., Pastor Terrance Green, pastor, eulogist, and Bishop Joyce O. Lewis will officiate. A second service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Word Church, 51 N. Broad Street, Pennsgrove, NJ 08069. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Salem, NJ.

The family will assemble at 1 p.m. at 4002 Williamsburg Drive, Hopewell, on the day of service.
