Elizabeth Driskill Obituary
She is survived by her husband, Carl G. Driskill; daughter, Tamara Driskill Francis and her husband, Floyd, of Chester; two sons, Carl Grant Driskill Jr. and his wife, Stacy, and Daniel L. Driskill, both of Chesterfield; two brothers, Ronald R. Lundie and Franklin M. Lundie; a sister, Patricia L. Rose; and three grandchildren, Patricia Blair Francis, Carl Grant Driskill III and Tiffany Lynn Driskill. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Leo, Alfred, Carlton, Kenneth and Donald Lundie.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 620 Lafayette Ave., Colonial Heights. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends Friday 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. The Driskill Family... So sorry to hear of Liz's passing, but try and take comfort in the knowledge that she is no longer in pain and that she is at peace. She will never leave you... she has just gone to live in a different Home. When you think of her, smile and remember that she is smiling with all of you always. Rose, be comforted in knowing that you will see her again when the time is right...and keep all those pleasant memories of 'times gone by' close to your heart. Carl, be strong and know that she will always be close to you and to her wonderful loving family...
