ERNEST WRIGHT Obituary
Ernest accepted Jesus Christ as a child. He graduated from Prince George High School in 1972 and worked at Bellwood Defense General Supply Center - Richmond (DGSCR) for 30 years until he retired in July of 2018. His most desirable hobbies were watching drag racing, going fishing, landscaping, and going on long country rides. He loved going to baseball games and reminiscing down memory lane with his various repetitious story telling.
Ernest is preceded in death by his wife, Angela Wright; siblings; Gladys Hill; James Wright Jr.; Gloria Wright; Barbara Raines; Shirley McWilliams; and Jean Massenburg. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving daughter, Danielle Tilford (Kevin); siblings; Joyce Wright (Larry); Ernestine Wright (Don); Dorothy Wright; Elaine Cooper; Sister in laws, Shirley Clark (Robert); Delia Montgomery; Brother in laws, Eugene Chavis (Liz); Robert Chavis, a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and dedicated friends Barbara Ridley and Rebecca Ridley.
Services for Mr. Ernest R. Wright will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday, October 8, 2018, in the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, Rev. Larenzo Chavis (devoted nephew), eulogist. Interment will be held at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
The repast will be omitted due to the wishes of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family request that you donate to the National Kidney Association or National Cancer Institute.
