FRANK SUBER Obituary
He was born Sept. 27, 1953, the son of the late John Suber Sr. and Emma Mary Suber. He was a native of Petersburg, Va. He confessed Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Third Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Titmus Optical and a dedicated worker of Weymouth Funeral Home Inc., Newport News, Va.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobby Jean Suber; parents, John T. Suber Sr. and Emma M. Suber.
He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Claudine Hall (Acey) of Hopewell, Va., Paulette Green (Andre) and Candice Green, both of Petersburg, Va.; one son, Frank Green of Petersburg, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Talia Goode, Lydasha Brown, Tyz'Juan Green, Acey Hall Jr., Shyheim Jordan, Ty'Asia Green, Star Everett, Aniya Hall, Dre'Yonna Crawley and Lauryn Green; two sisters, Carol A. Tucker (Irving) of DeWitt, Va., and Beverly K. Suber of Petersburg, Va.; three brothers, John T. Suber Jr. of DeWitt, Va., Clyde M. Suber and Byrne B. Suber, both of Petersburg, Va.; two aunts, Linda Bell Jenkins and Dollie B. Richards, both of Clinton, S.C.; one uncle, Archie C. Suber of Columbia, S.C.; 13 nieces and nephews, Jean, Angela and Sabrina Kates, Leticia, Antoine Suber, devoted-Shzmell Green (Richard), Jocelyn Parham (Roderick), Antonio Johnson, Sameka and Michael Mallory, Patricia, Stephanie and Michael Rollins; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues.
Services for Mr. Frank Suber will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Third Baptist Church, 550 Farmer St., Petersburg; Rev. Leroy A. Cherry, pastor, eulogist. Interment to follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Cemetery.
Wake services will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at the funeral establishment.
