GARFIELD JONES Obituary
Garfield retired from Philip Morris at age 56 after 35 years of service. Left to cherish his memories: his father, Garfield Jones Sr. of Sutherland, VA; his children, Marcus Jones of Dinwiddie, VA, Alisha Nicholas (Steven) of Dinwiddie, VA, and Terrence Jones (Nashae) of Chesterfield, VA; brother, Daniel Jones of Dinwiddie, VA; sisters, Irene Bethune (Emmanuel) of Chesterfield, VA, and Sandra Cisero (Ted) of Prince George, VA; ex-wife of 20 years, Jean Ridley of Dinwiddie, VA; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m, Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at the funeral establishment.
Funeral service for Mr. Jones will be private.

To the Family...I am saddened to learn of the passing of your loved one Garfield. As his tax preparer, Garfield and I would sometimes not speak unless it was tax time. It was just yesterday I learned of his passing. May the peace of GOD surround your entire family during this time of grief and sorrow.

To the Jones' Family. My heart was saddening hearing about the pasting of Garfield. We send our condolences & prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. I worked together with Garfield at Park 500 for many years. He will truly be missed. The greatest legacy of living on earth is to know that there is a better place that has been prepared by God for all of His children that loves Him. God has a master plan. I am so sorry to hear about Garfield. Very nice, quiet, easy-going guy. I worked with him at Park 500 ( Phillip Morris). He always smiled and was a very good, steady worker. I send my condolences to his family.

To the Family of Mr. Garfield Jones, Jr. I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. Garfield and I worked together at Park 500 for many years. We kept each other encouraged by always talking about the goodness of the Lord. Garfield had many special attributes such as being a mechanic and having excellent work habits. I know that he is with the Lord. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

After getting over the initial shock, all my precious memories came to mind. Garfield was a friend like no other. I remember all the talks and laughs we would have at work.
