Gena M. Livesay

Gena Marie Livesay, 29, of Colonial Heights, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Eugene "Geno" Livesay. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Agnes Sapp. Gena is survived by her children, Anthony Eugene Shelley, and Lilly Marie Shelley; her mother and step-father, Donna Sapp Richardson and Michael "Red" Richardson of Colonial Heights; grandmother and grandfather, Bob and Elise Jones of Colonial Heights; a brother, Michael Holt Richardson and Tiffany Johnson, a niece, Michaela Marie Richardson; aunts and uncles, Lawrence William Ellis, Donnie and Tammy Williams, and Allen Sapp; her best friend whom she loved, Allison Kingerty; companion, William Ayala; many family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Rev. Dr. Ray Haskett officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
