George Barnes Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Barnes; three sons, Ronald W. (Rhonda), Kenneth L and Gary A. Smith; two brothers, four sisters, six grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 10 a.m. at Bible Way Church, 1100 New Jersey Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001. Bishop James Silver, pastor. Interment will l be at Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, Va. Services by R.N. Horton Co. Morticians.

"Absent from the body, present with God." His voice has been quieted on this side, but I can hear him harmonizing with all of the original Sons of Bible Way right now, Elder James Adams, Elder Lewis Johnson, and Brother James Grayson. What a time they must be having! Remember those days and be comforted by the joy and fulfillment Bro. George had while singing! We will continue to lift the entire family in prayer as God comforts you and brings peace as only He can. The Adams Family
