Great is the Lord and greatly to praised, He will be our guide even unto death.
Mrs. Beth, Greg & Jeff: It is with profound sympathy that I send these words of comfort in the loss of your loved one. I learned of his passing today and felt compelled to send a message of encouragement. His earthly sojourn is complete and he rests with the Father in Heaven. May you hold fast to the cherished memories of the past and may the peace of God which surpasses all understanding be yours this day and forevermore. Sympathetically yours, William

I am so sorry to learn that Dr. Hamlett has passed. He was such a help to me as an undergraduate at Virginia State and as a graduate student at Ohio State. To the Hamlett family, please know that I will always remember him fondly and remain extremely appreciative of his unfailing help and reception of me.
Take the fond memories and God with you through this very sad time.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire Hamlett family. He was an excellent role-model for young persons at Virginia State during his time of service. My sincerest appreciation for the many scarifices made in the name of education.

To The Hamlett Family, You are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will find a comforting place in your heart. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning". Psalms 30:5 I was a student of Dr. Hamlett at VSU, I enjoyed having him as my instructor.
