INEZ C. WARD

Ms. Inez Cristabelle Ward, 87, entered into eternal rest and peace Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 27, 1927, in Melrose, Massachusetts.
Inez was a graduate of the Public School System in Melrose. She was a very loving and devoted mother and a member of the Prayer Room of Faith, Hopewell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph O. Ward; parents, Marcia Oliver Boardman and Chester Oliver; and brothers, Chester and Bruce Oliver.
She leaves to cherish her memories, son, Michael Bennett of Phoenix, Az; daughters, Geneva Hall (Windell) and Mary Ward both of Petersburg, Marcia Crawford (Victor) of N. Prince George; brother, Billy Oliver of Haverhill, Mass; sister, Mary Nunley of Paso, Or; grandchildren, Michele Bennett of Iowa, Melissa Bennett of Arizona, Melissa Crutcher of Harvest, Al. and Victor Crawford of N. Prince George; great grandchildren, Victor Crawford, III of N. Prince George, Amiya Crawford of Petersburg and Ryan Crutcher of Harvest, Al; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Ms. Inez C. Ward will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Petersburg, the Rev. Rux Green, officiate.
A public view will be held 7-8 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014, at the chapel of William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, Petersburg. The family will assemble 10 a.m. at 3212 Johnson Road, Petersburg.
