I just learned of Mr. Ransome's passing today. My thoughts are with the family. I've not seen Jerreka or Jimmy Jr. in a long time but it's always such a joy when I do run into them (would run into Jimmy Jr. every now and again in Richmond). I'm so sorry for your loss and may you find comfort in his memories. Love, Fonda Heath Neal

To the Ransom Family, my vife, daughters and I would like to share our deepest thoughts and prayers with you. It was truly a honor and a privilege to have been a family member of the Petersburg Pupil Transportation family. Mr Ransom was truly an awesome and unique person that was blessed with many gifts.
For many years we had an opportunity to witness and enjoy many of those gifts .
May your family continue to remember all the wonderful things he shared with you and know he's always there with you.

My condolences to the Ransom family. Jim was the consummate gentleman and a kind soul. I enjoyed working with him. He loved driving a bus to be with the kids. It was interesting to read of his earlier career in sales. I could see him being tremendously successful in that arena given his sincere way and great personality.
