JOSEPH ROY MOORE

Joseph Roy Moore, 93, of Prince George, Va., (formerly of Hopewell), entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 17, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Woodcock Moore; and three daughters who adored and deeply loved their father, Karen Rhodes of Boca Raton, FL, Sandra Grice of Prince George, Va., and Terry Knapp of Austin, TX. Also left to cherish his memory are his four grandchildren, Kelly Baker of Las Vegas, NV, Trevor Knapp (Brittany) of Glendale, AZ, Jason Baker (Olivia) of Holland, OH, and Mariah Knapp of Austin, TX; three great-grandchildren also survive, Joseph Knapp (Mercedes), Darriana Anderson and Darryl Anderson; as well as two great-great granddaughters, Lana and Atley Knapp, all of Austin, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Daniel and Lula Weaver Moore; two brothers, George Moore and Gordon Moore; and three sisters: Annie Moore Wyatt, Christine Moore Burnley and Maggie Moore Hicks.

Joe was a US Navy veteran and retired federal employee of Defense General Supply Center and Fort Lee.
