Death is a journey to another road. We live our lives then we make a right or a left onto the road of greener and brighter pastures. There is no need to ask for directions. You know when you are there as it is beautiful and all of your friends and relatives are awaiting you."
Our loved ones are always with you even after they pass...pay attention and you will feel their presence. If you think they are with you...they are."Our body is a mere shell...we remain alive forever. Our loved ones are always there for us...share, talk to them and listen to your intuition when you think they are communicating with you."
Though it hurts to lose a loved one, it is most painful to grieve for what you didn't get to enjoy with them. Rather, remember the blessings they left behind, with so many wonderful memories. Treasure their essence, for it is still here with you."
Losing a loved one is hard, but it's knowing that god gained an angel that makes the grief easier."
It is okay to grieve, it is a natural process...it is when we allow the grief to take us over that we are defeated. Grieve, but continue moving forward!"
There is a difference between letting them go, and forgetting them. Letting them go, means accepting they are gone, but knowing they will always have a place in your heart. Forgetting them means to forget all the memories, the good times, and the bad times. So, don't forget them, just let them go."
"A broken heart is a blessing in disguise; it reminds us of how perfect God's love is and how imperfect we are. In the midst of the pain and despair we are somehow renewed in the promise that we have been loved the whole time, and will continue to be loved for eternity. And your heart again, begins to heal, until the next time we forget. It's the cracks in our heart that make room for God's promises to sink in."
Remember that when a loved one passes away, it's because God can no longer bear to be apart from then."

Larry, You will be missed by all. I can remember the summers like they were yesterday. You would spend what seemed like weeks at my house when we were little. We would get into trouble and run the streets just having fun and being young little kids. You will be missed!

WISH
I wish you were here to share my life,
To hear what you think of me being a midwife.
I wish you were in the photos I took today,
Not confined to the albums I've tucked away.
I wish you were here to hold my hand,
Those times I know you're the only one who'd understand.
I wish you were here to help my heart mend,
That I'd got to know you more as a friend.
I wish you were here to meet my man,
And I'd see my babies held by their great gran.
I wish you were here to see the day that I wed,
Not confined to my heart or memories instead.
I wish you were here to hear the poems that I wrote,
And here to receive all the time I'd devote.
I wish you were here to make me laugh like you used to,
To make me smile when I'm in need of a booster.
I wish you were here as I think of you tonight,
But I can never wish you back, try as I might.
cried a thousand years,
a salty river flowed.
I think I will drown in my own tears,
cause I cannot let you go.
I could have one life time wish
One dream come true
I would pray to God with all my heart
For yesterday and you
A thousand words can't bring you back
I know because I've tried
And neither will a million tears
I know because I've cried
You left behind broken hearts
And happy memories too
But I never wanted memories
I only wanted you
To your resting place I go
Flowers are placed with care
But nobody knows the heartache I feel
As I turn and leave you there
What is death? It is the crossing of the soul into heaven or hell. It teaches that no one is invincible. It shows that love goes beyond life. It makes me wonder why I ever worried about life. It proves that it doesn't matter what you do in life. It won't bring you down or raise you to the top. It brings shivers to some and makes some people happy. It puts the thought of the perfect place, where nothing is wrong. It makes me think of nothing but god and myself. It says that everyone dies...but this isn't true either. It will never be true if you truly love someone. It will never take control of me. I live for the moment, I live for what god wants of me, I live for fun, I live to love. I love life but I can't wait until I'm in the lord's grasp, never to worry about anything ever again."

And if I go, while you're still here
Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure
Behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me, so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
Both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And if you should need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart;
I will be there.

They say memories are golden
Well maybe that is true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you
A million times I've needed you
A million times I've cried
If love alone could've saved you
You would've never died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart I hold a place
No one could ever fill
If tears could build a staircase
And heartache make a lane
I'd walk the path to heaven
And bring you back again
The family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again

Accepting loss is to recover from loss. As you continue to recover from loss, an invisible scar will form on your heart and may occasionally ache. You may not know when this will happen, but you have the skills to cope when these difficult times come. Loss is inevitable. Accepting loss is a choice you make as part of your recovery. Understand that recovery will be a back and forth process like the ebb and flow of the tide. As the waves continue to crash upon the shore, you will hold your head high, meet the challenges of your losses and accept them. For acceptance and recovery has made you a much stronger swimmer.

TEARS OF JOY REMEMBERED
"If grief is remembered joy, and my tears are proof of love, I will cry a river for you that runs to the sea and never ends."
Be at peace, though, my son. My tears are no longer shed in despair. I think of you with every beat of my heart, but I think of your life and the light shining from you; I dare not think of your death. The darkness of your last mournful breath should not shadow the brilliance of your beautiful life. I will not allow it. I will not darken your name, but shout it out loud. I will continue to shine your light to the far ends of our world so that everyone can see it, and they will know that you, with your beautiful soul, left my world a better place.
My grief is indeed remembered joy. It is the price of loving. You were my Sunshine; you warmed my heart and soul. I cannot look at your picture, hug your clothes, or sleep in your bed without remembering the joy you gave me.
If I shed a tear and remember joy, why would I want my tears to end? You are still giving to me. You are still teaching me. Your love is still within me. We have come full circle, my son. Through all things, and for all time, we are connected. You dwell within me and I am at peace.
In stillness and solitude, your light shines on and in me. Your Sunshine still warms my heart and soul, forever mine to hold.
Forever,
Mom

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Before I knew thy face or name;
So in a voice, so in a shapeless flame
Angels affect us oft, and worshipp'd be;
Still when, to where thou wert, I came,
Some lovely glorious nothing I did see.
But since my soul, whose child love is,
Takes limbs of flesh, and else could nothing do,
More subtle than the parent is
Love must not be, but take a body too;
And therefore what thou wert, and who,
I bid Love ask, and now
That it assume thy body, I allow,
And fix itself in thy lip, eye, and brow.
Whilst thus to ballast love I thought,
And so more steadily to have gone,
With wares which would sink admiration,
I saw I had love's pinnace overfraught;
Ev'ry thy hair for love to work upon
Is much too much, some fitter must be sought;
For, nor in nothing, nor in things
Extreme, and scatt'ring bright, can love inhere;
Then, as an angel, face, and wings
Of air, not pure as it, yet pure, doth wear,
So thy love may be my love's sphere;
Just such disparity
As is 'twixt air and angels' purity,
'Twixt women's love, and men's, will ever be.

Warm Summer Sun
Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.

Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

Music, when soft voices die
Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.
Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the beloved's bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

I'm happy you are my friend
I thank God for you each day
You are only an e-mail away,
We are friends now until the end.
We may never meet down here
But at the Jordan river we will share.
You are truly one of a kind,
When I talk to God, you're on my mind.
God knew I would need a special friend
I thank Him for sending you my way.
Just know that I love you dearly,
I pray God's love in your heart to stay.
You make my days happy and bright
Sending e-mails across the miles
You always know just what to say,
Your kind words just make me smile.
I find strength in good days and bad
And when the clouds are hanging low,
God says, hold on a little longer child,
I'm sending trials to help you grow.

CUTT.......................
A happy heart beats inside,
I have found a friend in you,
Confidences we can share,
I know you're a friend so true.
I have a lilt to each step,
I take each passing day,
For I have a true friend,
To share along life's way.
Her heart reaches out to mine,
It spans all distance to touch,
Bringing joy to light up my life,
Friendship we eagerly clutch.
Thank God for the true friend,
She will endure the sands of time,
Forever in my heart she'll stay,
God bless this true friend divine.
Keep her safe Lord Jesus,
In Your hands forever I pray,
I love my true friend in Jesus,
Your love, let us e'er display.

Blessed Lord I come to you,
After a long laborious day,
I am thankful for the blessings,
You have sent my way.
I kneel upon my knees in prayer,
Your love I worship more than all,
For it is with your counseling,
I survive each and every daily call.
I am tired in body, sweet Jesus,
Facing trials which seem to beset,
But when the day is over Lord,
With you there is Peace of the sunset.
Gentle peace fills my heart Lord,
Soothes my weary troubled soul,
I see blessing of such richness,
In the peace of the sunset's gold.
I thank you beloved Father,
For guidance I've to receive yet.
It is all brought to mind Lord,
With the tranquil peace of the sunset.
I know there will be days ahead,
More trials that I have not met.
But Jesus I know you will bring,
Everlasting peace of the sunset.

While walking through a valley,
Endless thoughts of yesterday,
My mind goes back to Jesus,
The words He had to say.
His love for me is endless,
Beside me when I stray,
His love is on the cross,
Our sins he choose to pay.
I look upon the mountain,
So small down here below,
Kneeling now in prayer,
His Spirit starts to flow.
Now, I'm on the mountain,
The Angels began to sing,
Colors of gold and jasper,
Flow softly from their wings.
Flowers in the distance,
Our eyes have never seen,
Love is all around me,
Is this real? Or just a dream?
I never want to leave here,
I'll stay down on my knees,
Soon to see my Father,
I know he will be pleased.

To the family.. It will be the little things that you will remember; the quiet moments, the smiles and the laughter. Although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memory of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Those who live in the hearts of others never die. You are all in my prayers.
I know that this is a difficult time for you and your family. But, please be assured that you and your family can depend on his word for Comfort. Take comfort in knowing that God is in total control. God never hurts us needlessly, Our father tests us often with suffering and with sorrow, but he tests us not to punish us, just to help us meet tomorrow.

My loving gentle friend and Savior
Who died and came to set me free,
I've heard of that beautiful city,
Where I will live for all Eternity.
I will share in the beauties of Heaven
And sit by the crystal flowing river,
My praise and worship forever will be,
The Love of Jesus, who died for me.
He left Heaven's best to dwell among men
He walks and talks with us each day,
Listen today while the Spirit still calls,
He is tenderly and lovingly calling again.
Oh lift your heart and voice to Him
As we think of His sacrifice at Calvary,
Many times His heart still breaks,
While many rejects, His love and Grace.
All glory to Jesus, the Savior of men
He changes not, He is forever the same,
Left heaven's best to earth He came,
Bore all my sin, my guilt and shame!

The Rose Beyond the Wall
Near shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by morning dew,
Shedding it's sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing its fragrance more and more.
Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope and receive
The rose still grows beyond the wall,
Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

I'm glad I had a praying mother:
One who talked with God each day
For I first heart the sweet Name "Jesus"
As she taught me how to pray
RECITATION
I remember clearly even now
That night as I knelt there
And spoke to God the words she taught
Me to say in my bedtime prayer
"Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray Thee Lord, my soul to keep
If I should die before I wake
I pray Thee Lord, my soul to take"
In memory I can now recall
Her voice 'most clear as then
As she told me to add these words
"In Jesus' Name, Amen."
She took me to the house of God
When I was very young;
But all that I can now recall
Are those grand old gospel songs:
I remember hearing Mother sing;
And others too, but then ---
I know that someone must have prayed
"In Jesus' Name, Amen.
When I was yet of tender age
God called Mother to the Fold:
In pain, before death came she sang
Of that Land where we'll never grow old.
At the funeral many tears were shed,
But this was not the end...
In Heaven Mother's praying still:
"In Jesus' Name, Amen".

My Angel
God sent an angel down from Heaven
To watch over me
It would be a long, long time
Before that angel I would see.
I walked alone in darkness
So lonely and so scared
But all along I never knew
That angel always cared.
Some things that happened in my life
My angel was always there
He would whisper in my ear
"My child, go to God in prayer.
"Don't ever be afraid"
"For I am always near"
"And one day you will see"
"I've kept away your fears."
That angel always watched me
Every step of the way
He was always there with me
Just to keep me safe
And then one day I saw him
And then I knew
Who my angel was
My angel was you.
You were the one that God had sent
So many years ago
And now that I have found you
Don't you ever go.

Gods gift of love
I Walked Alone in darkness
For so many years
Unable to see
Through all the tears.
At times I had no Idea
what Iwas to do
I just keeped on walking
just trying to get through.
At times I was so scared
The road it seemed so long
But always knowing in my heart
That I was never alone.
I always felt a prescence
Deep down in my soal
And the feeling that i had
Made and keeped me whole.
I know now what that feeling was
That I had felt so long
It was someone God had sent
To show me how to love.

Precious Trinity, You are one,
You are the Father, You are the Son,
You are the Spirit that leads this soul
and in Your image, I have been mold.
You are the rock for which I stand
You are the One who made all man.
You stand for goodness, You stand for love,
I stand at Your feet as You reside above.
All knees of creation will someday bend,
and Earth as we know it will someday end.
And to us my Lord, a promise You made,
"Believe in Me, and you will be saved."
I pray for a time when all is peaceful,
I pray for a time when we'll all be equal.
And the hunger taht remains today on Earth,
will all give way and recall Your birth.
Then this world will know without a doubt,
that Jesus is King, and all others are out!
Lord there's talk of streets of gold,
Won't need no heat, won't be no cold.
Won't need the sun that shines above,
for the Lamb is the Light that is thereof.
You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning
and the end,
You are my Father, and You are my Friend.

IIn my mind I have a vision
in my heart I have a dream
I'm walking with my Savior
in Heaven so it seems.
Now everything is so lovely
and a smile on every face
and it's really hard to imagine
there is just such a place.
The hearts of every person
seem filled with love and care
everyone seems so peaceful
as we walk around up there.
But then my heart starts racing
and my mind begins to shriek
"What if my Master turns to me
and requires me to speak?"
All my life this is a dream
I could not wait to seal
and now I am so nervous
of the time of when this is real.
I want to be so perfect
so Holy in front of Him
for he is my only salvation
the Almighty...the I Am.
Praise the Lord Forever!

As I kneel here by my bedside
tears streaming from my face
it's not of this time I'm thinking about
but a totally different place.
It's not all the silver
or even the precious gold
but it's the peaceful feeling inside
we all will someday hold.
It's the end of all the stories
that through life we all have shared
but the beginning of life thereafter
and the reason we were prepared.
In this world there is no evil
no worries or even cares,
for all we might have wanted
God suddenly has placed it there.

DANCING WITH GOD
When I meditated on the word Guidance, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing. When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky. When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance. When I saw "G: I thought of God, followed by "U" and "I". "God, "U" and "I" dance." God, you, and I dance. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies be upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God as God abides in you. Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life.
This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached. If God has done anything for you in your life, please share this message with someone else, for prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards; so let's continue to pray for one another.
And I Hope You Dance!

AMAZING HOW GOD WORKS
Love starts with a smile,
grows with a kiss,
and ends with a tear.
Don't cry over anyone
who won't cry over you.
Good friends are hard to find,
harder to leave,
and impossible to forget.
Don't let the past hold you back,
you're missing the good stuff.
BEST FRIENDS are the siblings
God forgot to give us.
When it hurts to look back,
and you're scared to look ahead,
you can look beside you
and your BEST FRIEND will be there.
Nobody is perfect and best friends know that and love you still.
Remember, every minute spent angry is
sixty seconds of happiness wasted.
It's not what you gather
but what you scatter
that tells the kind of life you lived.

Angels are the guardians of hope and wonder
the keepers of magic and dreams
Angels watch over you wherever you go
keeping each day perfect and promising a bright new tomorrow
The motto of all Angels is "It's a wonderful life"
Wherever there is love, an Angel is flying by
Angels help carry the ball, carry a tune
carry your weight, and carry on!
Your guardian Angel knows you inside and out
and loves you just the way you are
Angels keep the world safe for hummingbirds
and butterflies, and rainbows in the spring
Angels keep it simple and always travel light
Angels love whispering little secrets
and whistling in the dark
Whenever you hear music, an Angel is speaking to you
Remember to leave space in your relationships
so the Angels have room to play
Your guardian Angel helps you find a place
when you feel there's no place to go
Keep a spare Angel in your pocket
Angels carry high-beam lights to help you
through the darkest hours
Whenever you feel lonely
a special Angel drops in for you
Angels know that love is the only four-letter word
We are always "Angels on Call" for a friend
Every time you hear a bell
another Angel has earned its wings
Angels are here with you every step of the way
and help you soar with amazing grace
After all, we are all Angels in training
all we have to do is spread our wings and fly

Larry,
My heart aches to talk to you one more time, just to see you one more time, but until we meet again, I will cherish the memories, past and present that we have shared. You will always hold a special place in my heart. May your soul rest in peace now and may your family have strength and healing. Love you always and never, ever be forgotten.

When someone we love passes away,
We hurt momentarily but learn to go on;
Our dear lost one would want us to heal,
After they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to cope with
The anguish and pain in our heart;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
So that the recovery can soon start.
