Marianne Saunders Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Wiley V. and Mae Johnston Lawrence, and the widow of Curtis Lee Saunders Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis L. Saunders III of Colonial Heights and David V. Saunders of Seaford, Del.; her daughters, Patricia S. Reynolds of Colonial Heights, and Teresa S. Vinson and husband, Kenneth H.. of Chester; a brother, Robert V. Lawrence and wife, Betty H.. of Colonial Heights; three grandsons, Shaun R. Saunders of Bellingham, Wash., Matthew E. Wray and Adam K. Vinson, both of Chester; and a granddaughter, Jessica L. Vinson of Chester.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church, 211 Lynchburg Ave., Colonial Heights, with the Rev. Paul Bonham officiating. Interment private. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church, General Fund, or Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, VA 23805. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
