Mildred Jones Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Robert James Whirley Sr. and Virginia Collins Whirley, and was preceded in death by her husband, James Garfield Jones Sr.; a son, John "Johnny" David Jones; one sister; and three brothers. Mrs. Jones was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Petersburg.
She is survived by her two sons, James "Jimmy" Garfield Jones Jr., and Mark Jones and wife, Dawn; two daughters, Vicky Jones, and Stacy Ares and husband, Luis, all of Colonial Heights; daughter-in-law, Elke Jones; 11 grandchildren, Erik Jones, Ashley Jones, Jonathan Jones, Tosha Moneymaker, Amber Moneymaker, Clint Moneymaker, Michael Jones, Brandon Jones, Kayla Jones, Ramon Ares and Searra Ares; one great-grandson, Corbyn Jones; two brothers, Aubrey and Kenneth Whirley; and dear family members, Joyce and Jack Palfi, for their love and devotion to our mother to the very end.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon, with Chaplain Lena Thomas officiating. The procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

So sorry to hear about baby sis, I didnt know her that well but she was family I am Roy Whirley's daughter and pretty close to Buggie, I know words can NEVER begin to express ones sympathy for your loss for I know, my mother and father both are in heaven watching over me, I find that thinking about all the precious memories I have of them helps me get through each day, my heart and prayers are with you, Sincerely Linda Whirley Fuller
