Paul Feeney Sr.

1945 - 2015

Paul Papa Feeney, Sr. 70, of Brockton, died Sept. 2, 2015 after a period of failing health. He was the loving husband of Joanne M. (Miller) Feeney of 49 years. Born July 3, 1945 in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Paul A. and Catherine (Barry) Feeney. Paul grew up in Jamica Plain and has lived in Brockton for the past 39 years. He was a retired Master Plumber and served in the U.S. Navy. He also was a former Boy Scout Leader and was an avid recycler but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife Joanne he is survived by 3 sons Paul and his wife Lori, Michael and his wife Karen and Derek and his wife Heather all of Brockton; 1 daughter Kristin of Brockton; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers Barry of Virginia Beach and William of Alaska; 4 sisters Elizabeth Rials of Virginia Beach, Catherine Sisto of Quincy, Karen Sotomayor and her husband Frank of Plymouth and Donna Ingalls of Virginia Beach and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Kenneth and Kevin. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St. Brockton. A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauls name to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA 01701.
