Thank you lord for taking my grandpa the best way you could, painless! You were always their to pick me up when I was down, sing to me when I was sad,and make me laugh anytime you could! You have made me into a well taught child, teenager, and later an adult! I miss you so much and even though your gone your not gone from my heart. Everyday I think of how I didnt appreciate the stuff you did like take me to school when mom had her surgery, let me come over when miranda was sick, and check on me when I was hurt! I will always miss not being able to sing with you again and all the other stuff!! But the one thing I dont regret doing is saying I LOVE you and i always will.
Love your little MO

I thank the Lord for picking you to be my Dad!! Thank you for all the wonderful memories you left us with that make this time without you just a tiny bit easier to endure. For teaching us morals, respect for others, right from wrong, and most of all passing your humor on to the three of us! Even though I had to teach you that there were things I could do even if I was a GIRL. For your Love, Support, and Encouragment as we grew from children to adults with our own families. I will always treasure all the times we got to sing together at home and with an audience. For hardly ever letting me go to bed at night without a phone call to make sure the house was locked up, the girls and I were ok, and to tell me you loved me!! Well, just wanted you to know we Miss You like crazy, but we are all doing ok Dad!

Ann and Family,

I am so saddened to learn of Ronnie's sudden passing. He and I were 'joking' good friends all 4 years of high school. He wrote in my '57 yearbook: "To Sugar, from Sweets, Ronnie Nicholas," which made my boyfriend upset every time he saw Ronnie who just laughed! Ronnie and his goofy friends jacked my little Metro car up on cinderblocks, so the wheels spun but car stayed still. Another time they let the air out of my tires. Homeroom was never a dull time with Ronnie writing notes and signing someone else's name to them.

I was blessed to see him at our reunion where he was quick to ask if I still had the Metro. He helped make our reunion a special memory for me. Ronnie loved life and the people around him. He never met a stranger. He made a difference in the lives of so many of our classmates, and we will never forget him. He is with the Lord and at peace now.

May the Lord bless you all at this time.

Ann,

Lesley and I are so sorry to hear about Ron's passing. Our paths crossed about 40 years ago when Jimmy Burton lived next door to you. We pray that the Lord will filled the void that's been left in your life. Our prayers are with you! As far as Ron is concerned...we have the promise that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Our loss...his gain! See you later Ron...

Ann and family,
I'm still having a hard time comprehending the sudden loss of Ron. I will always remember the good times we had in choir and our trips to Eagle Eyrie. He loved life, You and the whole family but most of all he loved God. We can rejoice in knowing that he's now singing in that heavenly choir with his mom, dad and all his fellow believers. Ann, it's going to be tough at times but God is there to sustain you and put his loving arms around you. Know that you and the whole family are in our thoughts and prayers. In Christian Love, Margaret & Melvin

We were so sorry to hear of Ron's death. He was a great guy and always exhibited the Christian qualities of a follower of Jesus. He used his wonderful talent to spread the gospel wherever he sang, whether in a choir or as a gifted soloist, probably, most notably, "The King Is Coming." Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and know our love reaches out to all of his family. Ann, we especially think of you. May God's loving arms hold you tight and bring you peace and consolation at this very trying time. God bless. Tom and Mary Jean Lester and boys
