Russell Cliborne Obituary
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Kate Soyars, and Jack and Rebecca Cliborne. Rusty attended Crowder Memorial Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Carolyn S. and Russell O. Cliborne Sr.; a sister, Amy Roberts and husband, Treś; niece and nephew, Kaelynn and Dustin Roberts; aunts and uncles, Cora and Edward Cliborne of South Boston, Annie Mae Seamon of South Boston, Gracie and Leroy Francisco of Sutherlin, Connie Mangum and William Wrenn of Roxboro, N.C., Faye Solomon of Alton, and Irvin and Matt Kennedy of Richmond; numerous cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, May 29, 2009, in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, with the Rev. Joe Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crowder Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, 3018 County Drive, Petersburg, VA 23803. Friends are welcome to visit at the family's residence.
