STACY PARHAM Obituary
At an early age he accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior and was baptized at Providence Baptist Church, Prince George, Va. Stacy was a graduate of Petersburg High School, Class of 1985. Stacy was employed at Shelby's Catering for over thirty years.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Mary Parham, Joseph and Elnora Griffin; and a brother, Frank Lewis.
Stacy is survived by his mother, Mary G. Parham of Petersburg, Va.; a devoted mother of his children and friend, Kathy Mayfield of Prince George, Va.; devoted children, Shequeta Osorio (Jairo) of Charlotte, NC, Stacy L. Parham of Charlotte, NC, and Stacy Clanton of Petersburg, Va.; five grandchildren, Kelis Harrison and Keyoni Harrison, both of Petersburg, Va., Jaison Osorio, Jaivin Parham, and Gabriela Osorio, all of Charlotte, NC; devoted siblings, Terry Parham (Angela) of Disputanta, Va., Gregory Parham (Tracci) of North Chesterfield, Va., Helane Stewart (Garland) of Petersburg, Va., Latoya Dabney (Terry) of Petersburg, Va., Damien Gatling (Tomeka) of Atlanta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Janice Lewis of Petersburg, Va.; aunts, Mary Thelma Parker, Edna Shell (James) and Edith Moore (Kevin); uncles, Joseph Parham (Gloria) and Carney Parham (Wendy); devoted friends, Janice Graves and Adele Clanton; a devoted loyal employer, who he thought of as a wonderful and second mother, Shelby Arpe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Stacy F. Parham will be held at 12 noon, Monday, March 13, 2017, at the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, Va., the Rev. Tracci Parham, eulogist. Interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
The family will assemble at 11 a.m. the day of the service and will receive friends at 2551 Century Drive, Petersburg, Va.

A million laughs this man gave to us, since the day we met him. Stacy, "Thank You" for all of the gut busting giggles, for loving ALL of the kids, yours, mine, and everyone else's! Thanks for mowing the grass without being asked. Thanks for some of the BEST meals I've ever tasted that were cooked by a man. Thanks for always listening when I needed an ear. You were more than a cousin, more like a brother. When I say "WE ALL LOVED YOU DEARLY" it was just "that"....LOVE.... and love NEVER dies... Carol Sr, Jerry, Justin, Carol II and Yvonne. Stacy was a grandfather and a father and a brother and a friend and i conderser my son in law always till the day i die he was a loving and caring person
He was the father of my grand children and he was a uncle.He was the Apple of my eye.he would come to my house and said will you fix these fish cakes cakes for me and he use to call me.my gal.he use to tell my kids that's my gal.stacy will be truly be missed that was my heart.I can't really say how I'm feeling now we loved him so so much.He is gone and will not be for gotten.i would like to say stacy son and his grandaughter look just like him.he won't be for gotten never.he will live in my. Wow what a shock!. Debbie and Clint Gordon of Georgia are long time friends of Stacy and his family and wish to express our deepest condolences. We consider him and his family a part of our family. We never know what the next day will bring for none of us but our heartfelt prayers go out to our considered extended family. Tears have been shed for this loss of life.
