Thomas Stretcher Obituary
Mr. Thomas Edward Stretcher Sr, 83, affectionately known as Stretcher or Papa departed this life on Monday May 3, 2021. Stretcher was born on April 4, 1938 in West Palm Beach, FL to the late Alice and Bennie Scretchen. Stretcher was the youngest of eight children.
Homegoing service will be held 12 P.M., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Chapel of Bland Funeral Home, 137 Harrison St., Petersburg, VA., 23803, Rev. Dr. Andrew J. White, Sr., eulogy. Interment will follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park, The family will assemble at 11;30 A.M., on the day of service.

To Felicia, Tommy, Mark (Wado), Mary T. Bonner (Mice), Jean and grandchildren. Stretcher was such a people person - always kind, always fun-loving and always upbeat and full of love for all. Whenever in his presence, you would be entertained and uplifted.
Stretcher and Peyton were the "BESTEST" in-laws that a family could ever have.
