SPC Trevor Malik Hargrave, 20, of 16 Henley Court, Windsor Mill, MD, departed this life suddenly, December 12, 2015, in Fort Sill, OK.
He was born on July 28, 1995, to Gary Anderson Hargrave and LaVonne Cla-Sha' Baugh Hargrave Wright in Petersburg, VA. Trevor was a graduate of Prince George High School and after graduated he joined the United States Army, serving as a Motor Transport Operator in the 100 BSB Firesbrigade Company 15 Trans.
Trevor was preceded in death by: two brothers, Donte Kevon Howlett and Trevonte Hargrave; paternal grandparents, Katie Hargrave and Charles Thomas; uncles, Clifton Hargrave and Jerry Hargrave.
Left to cherish his precious memories are: his parents, Gary Anderson Hargrave and LaVonne Cla-Sha' Baugh Hargrave Wright; brothers, DaVon Jamel Hargrave, Brenden Nicol and Kearnard Bowling; sisters, Jazmyne Hargrave, Ashley Hargrave and London Larose Wright; maternal grandparents, Debbie Baugh, Claude Baugh; uncles, Lance Nelson, Jerry Hargrave, Roy Hargrave, Charles Bullock, Gary Bullock, Fresco Jones and Christopher Jones; aunts, Kristen Bequer, Vivian Thomas, Lois Hargrave, Janice Cleveland, Barbara Johnson, Yvonne Hargrave and Judy Bullock; stepdad, Lamont Wright; stepmom, Alecia Hargrave; a host cousins, other relatives and many devoted friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 800 Augusta Ave., Petersburg. The pastor, Rev. Wesley K. McLaughlin, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday evening at the chapel of Bland and Tucker Funeral Homes, 137 Harrison St., Petersburg.
