PAULDING, OH: Ricky L. "Rick" Williamson, age 71, of Paulding, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Paulding County Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 7, 1954 in Paulding, Ohio, to his parents, Gerald and Margaret (Doster) Williamson.
Rick worked for 25 years at Sheller Globe and later worked for 5 years at Defiance Metal Products. He loved music, especially the piano and organ. Rick played for many weddings and funerals over the years at several churches in Paulding County. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Fort Wayne Komets, Cleveland Indians, and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Williamson, Paulding, Ohio; sister, Annette (Gary) Adkins, North Ridgeville, Ohio; nephews: Ben (Meg) Englehart, Middleburg Heights, Ohio; Jackson Adkins, Cleveland, Ohio.
Rick is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Williamson in 2009.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Friends United Methodist Church, Latty, Ohio, with Pastor Monica Kleman officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rick's memory to Friends United Methodist Church, Latty, Ohio.
