ALFRED BULPITT Obituary
Alfred was a supervisor for Bulova Watch Company for over 30 years before retiring. A Navy veteran of WWII and Pearl Harbor survivor, he was a member of the VFW #2929, Smithfield. In 2007, Alfred was inducted into the Smithfield Heritage Hall of Fame.
Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Catherine Gosetti of Greenville, a brother, George Bulpitt of North Providence, several nieces and nephews, including Edward Kelley and his wife Lucille of Johnston. He also leaves his very special 'almost daughters', Marsha Aaronson of Santo Domingo and her sister, Betty Merner of Charlestown.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a funeral service at 10 am in St. Alban's Church. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Tuesday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Alban's Outreach Program, 1964 Smith St., North Providence, RI 02911.

Olga, we just heard moments ago about Alfred passing away. We are sorry for your loss, as well as wish someone had called to let us know. We lost Alfred as a part of our family as well.

Olga, Catherine and George,
I am so sad to hear of Alfred's passing. I only had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times but He and Olga made me feel so welcome in their home. I am honoreed to have been related, however distantly, to such an honorable man. His war stories and his knowledge of family history rivals none.
God bless him an dhis family and friends. May comfort come to you all in your memories of him and the good times yo all shared.
