Alfred Edmondson Obituary

EDMONDSON, ALFRED E., 57, of West Shore Rd., Warwick, and formerly of Coventry, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Kent Hospital.

Born in Balboa, Panama, he was the son of the late Juan and Aura (Perez) Edmondson. Alfred moved to Coventry, RI when his family retired from the Panama Canal Zone in 1980. He lived with his parents until becoming a member of the J. Arthur Trudeau community.

Alfred enjoyed family activities, coffee outings, karoke, dancing, and bowling.

He will be greatly missed by his four sisters and brother-in-laws, Sandra (and Norman) Russell of Clifton Park, NY, Nancy (and Michael) Murphy of West Warwick, Maria Edmondson of Miami, FL, and Coralia (and Jose) De La Rosa of Panama City, Panama, and several nieces and a nephew.

His Service will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Robert A. Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visiting 8:30 a.m.-9 a.m., prior to Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Kent County Arc J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, 3445 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02887-7789 will be appreciated.
