AMEDEO PARENTE Obituary
Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of the late Rocco and Enrietta (Antignano) Parente. Mr. Parente was the owner of Parente's Auto Sales and worked for the RI Department of Transportation before his retirement.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Anthony Parente and his wife Geraldine of North Providence and Johanna Taglianetti and her husband Paul of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Kara Taglianetti, David Parente and his wife Ketti and a great granddaughter Audrey Parente and a sister Leonora Gilson. He was the brother of the late Anthony, Armando and Rocco Parente, Ida Monforte, Margaret Accetta and Cecelia Ferranti.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 10am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St., Providence. Visiting hours will be Wednesday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Flowers are respectfully omitted. marianiandson.com
