Anthony Corrente Obituary
82, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Kent Hospital. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late George and Louise (Petrarca) Corrente. He was the loving husband of the late Catherine F. (Vileno) Corrente.
Anthony worked as a Supervisor for the State of Rhode Island Department of Transportation until his retirement. An active participant in Democrat political circles, he served the Ward 7 Democrat Commission as Chairman. He also served as a Moderator during election periods. He was a longtime member of Sts. Rose and Clement Parish in Warwick.
He is survived by his beloved children, Caroline A. Corrente of Mechanicsville, NY and Anthony G. Corrente, Jr. of East Greenwich, and his grandson, Christopher M. McMahon and his fiancée Molly Oates, of West Warwick.
He was the brother of the late Mary Corrente.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10AM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Interment will be private.
Due to COVID 19, Health and Safety Regulations will be in effect.
