Anthony Palmisciano Obituary

PALMISCIANO, ANTHONY, 94, of Angell Rd. died peacefully June 20th at his home. He was the husband of Dorothea M. (Thurber) Palmisciano.

Born in Providence he was a son of the late Diamante and Giacinta (Petrocelli) Palmisciano. He had been a resident of Lincoln for over 70 years. Mr. Palmisciano was a self-employed excavating contractor for 20 years, retiring in 1966. He previously operated a chicken farm in Lincoln. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening.

Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Ann T. Bell of Smithfield, Diane M. Octeau of Lincoln, and a son, Albert G. Palmisciano of Pascoag, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was father of the late Daniel Palmisciano and brother of the late Chester, Dante, Eli Palmisciano, and Concetta Agresti.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM in the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Calling Hours Wednesday 9-10 AM. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RI Special Olympics, 33 College Hill Rd., Warwick, RI 02886.
