Anthony Serapiglia Obituary

SERAPIGLIA, ANTHONY D., SR., 71, of Killingly Street, Providence died on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Constance (Gremour) Serapiglia.

Born in Providence a son of the late Augustine and Mary (Napolitano) Serapiglia, Sr. He lived in CA for 35 years until settling back into Providence 20 years ago. Mr. Serapiglia was employed with the J&M Metal Vetta Jewelry Company of Warwick for 8 years.

Besides his wife he leaves, one daughter, Gina M. Vandenberg of Vicksburg, MI, and a son, Anthony Serapiglia, Jr. of Bangor, ME; one stepson, Steven Jordan of Providence. He was the brother of Frank Serapiglia of Scituate and the late Augustine, Jr. and Raymond Serapiglia. He was the grandfather of four and great grandfather of two.

His funeral services will be held on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Saturday 2-6 p.m.

My deepest sympathy to Anthony's family. We were kids growing up together many, many years ago. I have a lot of good memories of him from back then. It was a different world in those days. He will be missed.
