Bernard Levy

LEVY, BERNARD, 84, of Warwick and Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013. He was the husband of Miriam (Friedland) Levy for over 60 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Samuel and Annie (Matasow) Levy, he had lived in Warwick for nearly 60 years and wintered in Florida for over 30 years. He was the founder of Crosstown Press Printing in Cranston where he worked until his retirement. Mr. Levy was a graduate of Hope High School, Class of '46. He was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. Bernard was a member of the Jewish War Veterans and the 102nd AC&W Squadron Association, a life member of Touro Fraternal Association and a member of Overseas Lodge of the Masons. He was a member of Temple Beth-El and a founding member of Temple Am David. Devoted father of Sharon Kramberg and her husband Bernie of Avon, CT and Steven Levy and his wife Donna of Warwick. Loving grandfather of David Kramberg and his wife Kathleen, Lauren Koretzki and her husband Kevin, Allison Blank and her husband Josh, Marissa Kramberg, Jennifer Kramberg, Brian Levy and Michael Levy. Cherished great-grandfather of Rachel and Ryan Koretzki and Olivia and Julianna Blank. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m. in TEMPLE BETH-EL, 70 Orchard Ave, Providence.
