Carmeno Boscia Obituary
Carmeno was a self- employed building contractor and President of J. Boscia & Sons, Inc. for 52 years. He also served in the 143rd Division of the RI Air National Guard. He was a 1958 graduate of Central High School in Providence where he was an All-State football player. He was a member of the Rhode Island and National Home Builders Association; and the Madonna della Civita Society of Cranston. He enjoyed wine-making with his family and friends. His favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren play sports.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Gina Bogda and her husband Ted, Carmen P. Boscia, II and his wife Mona, and Michael J. Boscia and his wife Dawn, all of Cranston; loving grandfather of Carmen III, Bianca, Milan, Giovanna, Dean, Arianna, Michael and Luca; and dear brother of Joseph Boscia and his wife Marie of North Kingstown, Anthony Boscia and his wife Lucille of Saunderstown, Raymond Boscia and his wife Joany of Cranston and Richard Boscia and his wife Angela of Johnston. He was the brother-in-law of Geno Catone of CA, and the late Frank Catone.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St., West Warwick at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS FRIDAY 5-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Tomorrow Fund, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903.

Dear Family,
Although time and travels have set us apart there is one thing that keeps us together. I find myself now relying on this very human trait, in which I do not often use. When I heard of my cousins passing I began to cry. Carmeno and I haven’t been in touch with each other for many years, for that matter nor his family. I will always remember his smile, his swagger and his children.

Dear Carol, Gina, Carmen, & Micheal,
We were so sorry to hear of Carmeno's passing. I myself will always remember playing when we were kids, and working for Carmeno and Uncle Joe Boscia. He worked us hard, but for a real good reason. It was to make us tough and strong,and to grow up with respect. We may have never seen Carmeno much, but it didn't mean that we did't Love him. I Love all my cousins and family, even if we never see each other often as we wish to.
Cousin, you are now home with God and Auntie Vee, and Uncle Joe, and nephew Anthony Boscia. We are all sadden, but as you have built all the homes for us here, you now can build them for God ,as he did too. We will miss you, but all the memories will be in our hearts forever. That is the greatest gift, you have left us with. Auntie Connie cries with tears, and it hurts me to see her like that. She Loved you very, very, much. But in the end we will all be together in Gods home and we will be with each other once again.
I hope this little note comforts you all and our Prayer's are with you always....
