Faith Joy (Cornwall)
June 14, 2021
I remember Deacon Charlie from attending St Patrick's church as a kid and growing up on Smith Hill. He always had a sense of joy, warmth, humor, and light-heartedness, whether in his robes at church or out and about in the neighborhood. Thank you for shining your light so bright Charlie, you were a gift to the world. My condolences to the Andrades and the many, many people you positively impacted during your long life.

I worked with Charlie Andrade at the Outlet Company in Providence RI in 1975. Charlie often spoke about his faith in Christ, and he was instrumental in my coming to faith. He was a blessing in my life as I am sure he was to so many.
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' Matthew 25:21

Pat and the Andrade family, I want to express my sincere sympathy and sadness to hear of Charlies passing. I was born and lived on the corner So. Main & Power St. and the Andrades lived on the next block So. Main & Planet St. with the Fox Point Boys (and Girls) Club in the middle. Charlie and Pat have attended, consoled, and Spoke the good word at many of our family functions and for that I will forever be grateful. Pat and family we will be praying for your healing and hope that you can find peace in a good lifetime of happy memories. RIP Deacon Charlie, life well lived.

My sincerest condolences to the Andrade Family.
Deacon Charlie was a wonderful example of a truly fine Christian gentleman. He and his family were (are) highly respected within the Smith Hill and St. Patrick Church community.
Although I have not had the pleasure of seeing him in recent years, I have many fond memories. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy in the love and compassion he shared with so many people.
HIs loving family will be comforted with the knowledge that he touched the lives of countless individuals.
Live Jesus in our hearts.

Charlie was truly an Angel of God. His love and devotion to his wife Pat and family.....as well as his devotion to the Catholic Church was truly remarkable. His shining light, when he entered a room, was loving and healing. Our prayers continue for his loving wife Pat and family.

Oh my Lord...I remember the day that Pat and Charlie got married!!! I always remembered them coming on Lippitt St looking like a million dollars and their smiles reflected this ... as well!!!!!
For years when Charlie would see me he would always call me "Pocahontas". I was always the Indian girl to him.
To his family and to Pat especially, I send my deepest sympathy! He was a cut above the best and was loved by many.
Lots of wonderful memories left behind by Deacon Andrade.

Deacon Charlie and His Wife Pat, I considered them like my family or "Mi Familia" as Deacon Charlie would say it. When your born and raised in Fox Point, we all have a strong sense of family and love for one another. Some kept that way of mindset and heart set all of their life. And Deacon Charlie and Pat kept that way of life deep in their hearts, and no matter how old you were, there someone would be to you and remind you, of that heartset and mindset. It was Love, and always love for one another. Deacon Charlie and Pat exuded that love, and stability in every life that has touched theirs. God Rest Your Beautiful soul Deacon Charlie. Now you can better intercede for your family and for all of us. Pat Please be assured of my prayers for your family during these trying times, and may God bless you all and heal your grief. Eternal rest grant upon Him oh Lord, and may the Perpetual Light shine upon him, and may His soul and all the soul's of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in Peace. Amen
