Clare Clark Obituary

CLARK, CLARE, 83, of Kelley Avenue, Rumford, died Sunday in the Hattie Ide Chaffee Nursing Home in East Providence. She was the wife of Robert W. Clark.

A lifelong resident of East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Soderlund) Brennan. Mrs. Clark worked as a shipper for Anchor Chain and as a cashier for the Rumford Pharmacy.

Besides her husband, she leaves her daughters, Christine Caporicci and her husband John of West Warwick and Dianne Clark of Rumford and grandchildren Nicholas and Laura Caporicci.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman Street, Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret's Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford at 10 a.m. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rev. Brendan O'Donnell Scholarship Fund, c/o East Providence Council Knights of Columbus, 3200 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, RI 02915.
