Dear Colon Family
We are so sorry for the loss of your son Damien.My name is Gail I belong to a self help support group for parents,grandparents and adult-siblings, who have loss a child at any age for any reason. We are called the Compassionate Friends and you can locate us at www.tcfprovidence.com. I loss my only son George in a car accident at the age of 34 in 2005, and I have found hope and comfort with all of these wonderful people. If you need us we are here to help you. May you find some comfort in the memories you shared with your son Damien.

Liz (and Jorge), I am so sorry to hear that this was your son. I remember you bringing him in when you and I worked the Meningitis outbreak at the Health Department. I am very sorry for your loss and wish peace to you and your family.

I am a mother who would like to give my deepest heartfelt sympathy to Damien Colon's friends and family. I did not know him but I just wanted to send prayers, support and sympathy to his family. Loosing a child is one of the worse things that could ever happen to any parent and when a child is taken so tragic makes it even worse. May your child rest in peace and I pray that God helps your family during this very difficult time.
