My sympathies to David's family. I had the honor of getting to know David as a colleague at East Bay Community Action Program. He brought so much to our team-, not only his skillful writing, but also his knowledge of the east bay communities, especially East Providence. We learned from him, celebrated with him, and we all have many many fond memories of him. We are all better for knowing David Howard. I remember how over the moon with joy he was on the birth of his granddaughter Stephanie. We shared in his joy then, and again when he met Sandy. His eyes lit up when he spoke of Sandy! Lisa, Steve, Stephanie, and Sandy, my heartfelt condolences to all of you. -Maggie Laurianno
