DAVID WILSON Obituary
David was a graduate of East Green wich High School, Class of 2003 and was currently on the Dean's List at URI studying psychology and had interned at Perspectives in North Kingstown helping people with disabilities. He had worked at Wilson's of Wickford, a family business for several years and was a waiter and bartender at the Coast Guard House, Valuna Restaurant and in Newport as well as, the Greenwich Club in East Greenwich, where he worked as an assistant manager. David loved his family, making people laugh and was looking forward to being the godfather of his first niece. He was the brother of Amanda W. Dowd of East Greenwich, Scott W. Wilson and Jennifer M. Wilson, both of North Kingstown and the grandson of J. Paul and Elizabeth (Lawson) Wilson of North Kingstown and the late Shirley (Walker) Wilson and Paul and Joyce (Wilson) Toole.
His funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Perspectives, 1130 Ten Rod Road, Bldg. B, Suite 101, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated. Information and guestbook, visit TheQuinnFuneralHome.com.

Kathy, Rich and family,

The Wilson Family
I had the pleasure of working with Dave at Coast Guard House and got to know him well. He was always fun to be around. Although we lost touch after leaving the restauant I never forgot about him. My heart goes out to everyone in the family and his good friends, especially Ashley Keene. He will definatly be missed. Losing someone at such a young age is so hard to comprehend and I wish the best for everyone who knew him.

I used to work with Dave at The Coast Guard House & recently had a class with him (I don't think he even realize it was me it's been a couple years since I had seen him)!
