Deborah D'Andrea Obituary

D'ANDREA, DEBORAH (FRATTARELLI) 59, of Smithfield, passed away September 9, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Angelo Frattarelli, and Maria Carmina (Carnevale) Frattarelli. A native of Cranston, Deborah attended St. Ann's grammar school, where she was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. She later attended Cranston High School East, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Deborah lived in many locations before settling in Smithfield. She was a true Jack of All Trades, but the free spirit found herself in the hospitality industry, and her greatest professional achievement was to become the head Administrator of a nursing home. She was surrounded by loving family and friends, and a myriad of adorable pets. She is survived by her husband, Frank D'Andrea, her daughter, Emily Surabian, three step-children: Frank D'Andrea III, Steven D'Andrea, Nicole D'Andrea, and a sister, Marie Laudini. Everyone fell in love with her affectionate, loving, and spirited personality. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 8:30-10am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101. We were shocked to learn that Debbie passed into the paradise chapter of her life so soon after her last chemo treatment. We are sorry we couldn't attend the funeral service, but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. It is so hard to lose someone in life who is so young and dear to us. Regretfully, Evelyn, Estelle, Marie and John.
