I was lucky enough to call this kind, loving, witty, sharp-tounged man my grandfather. Every memory I have of him growing up holds a special place in my heart. I'll never forget how much I looked forward to making the long drive to Granny and Grampa's house for the holidays as a child.
He'd always pull my leg at every opportunity, but then he'd take me to the golf course where he worked as a groundskeeper and let me ride with him on the mower or take me to the penny candy store down the street. I enjoyed every moment I had with him, and I cherish every fond memory.
He was a role model for me growing up, a family man who I admired and respected deeply. A man I've always been proud to call my grandfather. I'll miss him more than words can say.
Thanks Grampa, for everything you did to make our family a loving environment to grow up in, one full of laughs and special times. I'll never forget you.

We are sad he had to leave. We are happy that my mother got to know him and spend time with him in his last days . They were such a blessing to each other which is living proof that we never lose the ability to love. My mother feels a tremendous loss. He is truly missed.
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. We shall remember you and your loved one today and always.
We salute you, our gracious friend, Dennis. You hold a special place in our hearts.

What a surprise. Was looking forward to wishing him his 100th birthday next month.
Our deepest sympathy. He was a great guy and a wonderful boss. We are enjoying our time at Six Lakes Country Club in Florida because of him. Sally & Ray Beattie

I'd like to express my sympathies to Dennis's family. He was a warm and caring man who was always eager to lend me a helping hand. I lost contact with Dennis due to uncontrollable circumstances for a short time. Miraculously, I was reconnected with him just a week ago. I am so happy I got to share some time and music with Dennis! His kind, caring ways and quick sense of humor will always be remembered. Thank you Dennis for being such a good friend to me. Peace to you and your loving family.
