I have a lot of good memories of Dotty, but the one I will never forget is the time at Aunt Mary's funeral Mass, on her way out with the family, she reached out, took my hand, and said " Come over here with us, Bev, you are a Conlon too."
She not only had great faith she lived it. We will miss her and her e-mails very much.

When I was a little girl and would see Dorothy visiting my cousin Ann Doherty, I would always beg Dorothy to take me home with her. Now I know it was because she was such a warm and loving humanbeing. I know my cousin is griefing especially since she can not attend the services for Dorothy because she is in the hospital recuping from an operation. My heart is with the family of Dorothy. She will be deeply missed.

I worked with Dotty at GMAC in the late 80's and early 90's. She was a very warm hearted lady who I enjoyed having the opportunity to cross paths with in this lifetime. I always remember her having a smile and laughing and enjoying life. My thoughts and prayers to Sister Mary as well as the rest of Dotty's family. God Bless

My deepest sympathy to the Conlon family on your great loss.
I had the pleasure of being a neighbor to Dottie's and her Mom on Huron Street and again a neighbor of Dottie's in Wethersfield.
I always loved meeting her on my walks by her house. Each year when I returned home from Florida she would bring me up to date on all the happenings while I was away. She even kept me updated on former Huron Street neighbors. I'll miss hearing all about her nephews as I remember them as little kids coming to visit Gram and Auntie Dot.
She gave the gift of laughter
and dried her share of tears.
She left her mark on many lucky lives
throughout the years.
She spread a lot of love around.
She shed a world of light.
And in the memories she left,
her spirit still shines bright.
Rest in Peace, Dottie.
You will certainly be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Mickey and Dave Joly

I had the pleasure of working with Dottie when she started at AAA 13 years ago. Her smiles, energy, and positive outlook were wonderful especially when combined with top efficiency. In recent years I would see Dottie at Club events and she always made a point to say hello, attached to a wave and a smile. As the saying goes, Heaven must have needed an angel.

To the Friends and Family of Dotty -
I worked with Dotty for several years at the GMAC office in Warwick in the late 80's - early 90's prior to her retirement. She was such a warm and wonderful person and always had a nice word to say to every one. She will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Family and Friends of Dorothy Conlon: I would like to express my deepest sympathy to you for the loss of your wonderful "Dotty". I have only met her once or twice but her name has always been a household word in our family. You see, she was a beloved friend to my cousin, Ann Doherty, and they shared an extensive history together. I am grieved that Ann is in the hospital right now, recovering from yesterday's (Monday) surgery. I am grieved that she cannot be there with you celebrating Dorothy's life, supporting, and being supported by, friends and family. My sympathy and best wishes go to all. As a side note, yesterday I flew back to Portland, Oregon and as my plane made it's ascent out of Providence I was gazing out the window thinking about Dorothy when suddenly the clouds gave way to a clear sky and I had the thought "there is always blue sky above the clouds". And those are the words of comfort that I can offer you right now: there is always blue sky above the clouds.
