Dorothy Provoyeur Obituary

PROVOYEUR, DOROTHY E. (LEMIEUX), 81 , of Johnston, died on Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the wife of Lucien Provoyeur.

Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Glancy) Lemieux.

Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters: Roseann Amore of North Providence, Joan Provoyeur of Warwick and Karen Paglio of Johnston, two sons: Thomas Provoyeur of Cranston and John Provoyeur of Providence, two brothers: Joseph Lemieux of Hollywood, FL and William Lemieux of Bristol, grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 13. She was also the mother of the late James and Patricia Provoyeur and sister of the late Philip Lemieux.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 901 Atwells Avenue, Providence at 9:30 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860-9924. Visit www.nardolillo.com for information and online condolences.

Karen and family, I trully am so sorry to hear about your mothers passing. I know how much you loved her and how close you two were.
