Dorothy Silva Obituary
Dorothy was a communicant and trustee of St. Rose and Clement Parish, a Eucharistic Minister and past president of the Rosary and Altar Society. She loved bowling, the Patriots, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the beloved mother of Douglas D. Silva, Vivian M. Kidd, Christine A. Jeff, and the late Eugene E. Silva. She was sister of the late Barbara Penedo and is survived by her 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Long St. at 10 AM. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-7 PM. Memorial contributions to St. Rose and Clement Parish or Home & Hospice Care of RI would be appreciated. Vivian and family, We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. We only met Dorothy a few times but I know she was a wonderful, sweet and caring woman. I'm so glad she was there to celebrate the wedding of her grandson Ron to my daughter Christina. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
