DelGRANDE, EDDY
82, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Brookdale in Cumberland. He was the former husband of Carmela (Ricci) DelGrande.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Ettore and Rosalinda (D'Agostino) DelGrande, he had lived in Lincoln for over 50 years.
Mr. DelGrande was the owner of DelGrande Plumbing & Heating Company, North Providence for 55 years before retiring. He was a member of the RI Master Plumbers Association.
He served on the Lincoln Town Council for 20 years representing Lime Rock.
He was a member of the Lincoln Lions Club.
Besides his former wife, he is survived by three sons, Edward DelGrande and his wife, Linda of Smithfield, Christopher DelGrande of Boston, MA and Jeffrey DelGrande of Lincoln; one daughter-in-law, Graziella DelGrande of Hobe Sound, FL; three sisters, Jeanne Albanese, Ruth Donovan and Alice Reeder, all of North Providence; three grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Richard A. DelGrande and the brother of the late Adolph DelGrande, Walter DelGrande, Raymond DelGrande and Clara Edwards.
His funeral and burial were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. DelGrande's memory to St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln, RI 02865 would be appreciated.
